Operations Accounting Controller

Lead operations accounting with cost accounting knowledge, internal controls expertise, and clear financial communication. This Regional Operations Controller guides teams and business decisions.
You will lead or support location accounting departments while developing monthly dashboards and analysis. The position manages top-down and bottom-up budgeting and forecasting processes. It also evaluates projects, validates business cases, and provides financial structure to ongoing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and enhance internal controls across locations
Develop monthly reporting metrics and dashboards
Compile budgeting information and manage assumptions
Evaluate options and validate strategic business cases
Recruit, coach, motivate, and retain high-performing employees
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline
CPA designation considered an asset
Seven-plus years accounting or finance experience
Three-plus years management experience
Ability to manage pressure, priorities, and deliverables
Use accounting leadership, business cases, and financial controls to strengthen decisions across locations and ongoing operational initiatives.
