Canadian Payroll Manager Dayforce

Lead Canadian payroll operations with Dayforce expertise and team leadership while working hybrid from the Canadian Headquarters in Mississauga, Ontario.
As Payroll Manager, you will manage three team members supporting biweekly payrolls across Canada and the United States. You will oversee payroll administration, time and attendance systems, vendor performance, and employee support. The role serves approximately 2,800 employees and partners with HR, Finance, Tax, HRIS, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and develop three Canadian payroll and HR administrators
Oversee biweekly payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees
Monitor Dayforce payroll, timekeeping, interfaces, and vendor services
Review payroll reports, reconciliations, adjustments, and supporting documentation
Coordinate compliance, audits, filings, and payroll-related inquiries
Requirements:
Seven or more years of Canadian payroll processing experience
Two or more years in leadership or supervisory roles
Current Payroll Compliance Practitioner or Certified Payroll Manager certification
Dayforce Payroll and Workforce Management experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel and Canadian payroll regulations knowledge
