Legal billing and accounting expertise define this Accounting Associate role with Bluestar Professional Services Inc. supporting multiple client law firms.
This hands-on position manages billing, revenue, receivables, payables, and general accounting operations. You will work independently while staying connected with a remote team. Professional collaboration with colleagues, clients, and third-party suppliers is essential to daily success.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare, edit, finalize, and distribute prebills and invoices
- Process electronic billing and post client payments
- Monitor outstanding balances and support collections efforts
- Manage vendors and process online banking payments
- Review accounts, adjust GL entries, and handle wire transfers
- Accounting, Finance, or related diploma or degree
- At least three years as an Accounting Clerk
- Experience in legal or related professional environments
- Commitment to LSO regulations and operational standards
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
