Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth daily operations within our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency with various office software. Experience in medical or dental office settings is a plus, but not required. This position offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting where efficiency and customer service are paramount.

Duties
  • Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Quick Books as needed
  • Maintain organized filing systems, both physical and electronic, ensuring easy retrieval of documents
  • Handle clerical responsibilities such as photocopying, scanning, and proofreading documents for accuracy
  • Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments
  • Assist with bookkeeping tasks, including basic bookkeeping and record keeping for financial transactions
  • Support medical or dental office functions by managing patient records, insurance information, and appointment scheduling if applicable
  • Ensure the office remains organized and productive by coordinating supplies and maintaining a clean work environment
Experience
  • Prior office experience is preferred, especially in administrative or clerical roles
  • Familiarity with Quick Books, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Google Workspace is highly desirable
  • Experience working at the front desk or handling multi-line phone systems demonstrates strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of data entry procedures, filing systems and proofreading enhances accuracy in daily tasks
  • Previous customer service experience is advantageous for providing excellent support to clients and visitors
  • Medical or dental office experience, including familiarity with medical office procedures or dental receptionist duties, is a plus but not mandatory
  • Strong organizational skills combined with efficient typing speed and phone etiquette are essential for success in this role

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
