Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Front Desk Receptionist role based in Toronto, ON. The Front Desk Receptionist will greet clients warmly, manage check-ins and check-outs, and ensure a professional and welcoming clinic environment. Daily responsibilities include answering phone calls, responding to emails, scheduling and confirming appointments, and providing information about services and clinic policies. The role also involves handling direct billing and payments, verifying insurance coverage as needed, and maintaining accurate client records using Booker clinic management software.
The Receptionist will support general clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, organizing documents, and coordinating with practitioners to keep the daily schedule running smoothly.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and respectfully with a diverse clientele
- Solid receptionist and clerical skills including scheduling, record keeping, filing, and general office administration
- Professional phone etiquette; comfortable managing multi-line phones and appointment confirmations
- Proficient with computers and clinic or scheduling software; quick to learn new systems
- Previous experience in a front desk, medical office, or wellness clinic setting is preferred
- High attention to detail and reliability; able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is strongly preferred given our client community
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in administration, healthcare, or a related field is an asset
Schedule & Compensation
- Pay: $17.60 – $23.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
- Full-time, on-site; weekday availability required; weekend availability is an asset
