We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of various construction projects. Working closely with the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will help develop and implement comprehensive project plans, manage scheduling and documentation, track progress, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of construction project workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution
Assist in preparing detailed project action plans, including resource allocation, schedules, and budgets
Break down projects into manageable phases and assign tasks to internal teams
Coordinate the procurement of equipment, materials, and services
Track project milestones and deliverables; escalate issues as needed
Client & Team Coordination
Liaise with clients to define project requirements, scope, and objectives
Ensure evolving client needs are met through proactive communication
Act as a primary point of contact between internal teams and external stakeholders
Work with the Project Manager to resolve project blockers or delays
Documentation & Reporting
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, contracts, schedules, and reports
Monitor working hours, project expenditures, and budgets using project management tools
Prepare and issue legal documents such as contracts and terms of agreement
Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure standards are met
Analyze project risks and opportunities, providing timely updates to the Project Manager
Support quality assurance and control processes throughout all project phases
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and client expectations
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
2–5 years as a Project Coordinator or similar role in construction or engineering
Experience in project scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating from start to finish
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project (required)
Exceptional organization, time management, and multitasking skills
Strong verbal and written communication with clients and internal teams
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to work independently and collaboratively
Pay $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
Education Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
