Elevate your career with the City of Mississauga as an Infrastructure Inspector. This permanent role focuses on ensuring the integrity of city construction projects through detailed inspections and oversight.
Working under the Supervisor of Surveys & Inspections, you will be responsible for inspecting roads, sidewalks, and other municipal works. Your contributions will include ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and maintaining quality during construction activities. You will coordinate with various stakeholders to address issues and document all inspection activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct inspections on municipal construction and utility projects
• Document site conditions, compliance, and contractors' work
• Ensure public safety and adherence to traffic control measures
• Review construction documentation and specifications
• Prepare reports and support payment processing
Requirements:
• Completion of a Civil Engineering Program
•
C. Tech or C.E.T designation required
• At least two years of experience in inspections
• Proficient in reading engineering drawings
• Ability to lift and manage physical tasks
