Senior Scheduler - Infrastructure This is an opportunity to join an experienced project team delivering challenging infrastructure work where strong planning, collaboration, and proactive schedule management are critical to achieving project milestones.
What You'll Do Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring all phases of work are accurately planned and integrated.
Collaborating with project teams to align schedules with construction plans, milestones, and overall project objectives.
Monitoring progress, analyzing schedule performance, and identifying potential delays or constraints.
Working with project leadership to develop recovery plans and corrective actions when required.
Preparing schedule updates, progress reports, dashboards, and schedule narratives for internal teams and stakeholders.
Supporting project controls activities including earned value reporting, manpower forecasting, resource planning, and cash flow analysis.
Conducting schedule risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies to minimize project impacts.
Tracking changes, maintaining accurate schedule records, and ensuring effective communication of schedule updates.
Supporting resource planning by analyzing labour, equipment, and material requirements to meet key milestones.
What You Bring 7+ years of scheduling experience within a general contracting or construction environment.
Experience supporting heavy civil infrastructure projects, including transportation, transit, rail, or other complex construction projects.
Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling software.
Experience with project forecasting, budgeting, resource planning, and schedule analysis.
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, project delivery processes, and field operations.
Ability to analyze complex information, identify risks, and communicate solutions effectively.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
