Senior HSE Coordinator

Bird is seeking a Senior HSE Coordinator with at least three years of field safety experience, preferably in construction. The ideal candidate will conduct site inspections, maintain safety records, and ensure compliance with regulations. Strong mentoring skills and the ability to motivate are essential to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Bird Safety Program and project safety compliance

• Conduct site inspections and address safety deficiencies

• Manage safety training and orient new workers

• Complete regular site inspection and compliance reports

• Facilitate safety meetings and toolbox talks

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of safety experience in construction

• CHSO or NCSO certification required

• Relevant post-secondary education in HSE is an asset

• Strong knowledge of local health and safety regulations
