Eglinton Crosstown TPSS Construction Lead

Take the lead in traction power substations with TRP on the Eglinton Crosstown project. Ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant installation of critical electrical infrastructure.

The TPSS Construction Lead at TRP will oversee the planning and execution of TPSS construction activities across the ECWE corridor. You will manage the mechanical and electrical installation while coordinating with contractors and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met. This role directly impacts the successful delivery of traction power assets through effective leadership and technical oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review construction documentation for compliance

• Develop scopes and procurement packages

• Lead TPSS construction activities from mobilization to handover

• Manage contractor performance against objectives

• Oversee installation of high-voltage systems and SCADA interfaces

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• 7+ years in heavy industrial electrical construction

• Electrical safety certifications and railway experience

• Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and equipment logistics

• Proven ability to develop critical lift plans
