Renfrew-based Equipment Operator Vacancy

Take on a critical role as an Equipment Operator in our construction team located in Renfrew. You will operate several types of heavy machinery, ensuring smooth site operations and adherence to safety protocols.

This position requires a detail-oriented Equipment Operator with at least three years of experience in heavy equipment operation. You will work under the guidance of construction supervisors, executing tasks like grading and trenching. Key attributes for success include safety commitment and proficiency in site logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate equipment such as excavators and backhoes

• Conduct trenching and grading based on blueprints

• Place heavy components to support construction efforts

• Perform daily machinery inspections and document findings

• Maintain a tidy work site and utilize spotters when necessary

Requirements:

• Over 3 years of experience in heavy machinery operation

• Experience working on steep terrains preferred

• Valid Class G license; AZ or CDL considered advantageous

• Proficient in reading and interpreting site plans

• Training or certification in relevant machinery operation preferred
