Position: On-Site Health & Safety Coordinator Role
Become an On-Site Health & Safety Coordinator at AECOM in Mississauga, where your expertise will ensure the highest safety standards for a transformative airport project. Engage with teams for impactful safety leadership.

Reporting to the H&S Onboarding & Training Specialist, this role involves building solid relationships across project teams. Collaboratively establish effective Safety & Security measures while evaluating current practices for continuous enhancement. Utilize data analysis to inform safety initiatives and audits effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee health and safety activities on site

• Advise on effective safety practices throughout the program

• Work with contractors to ensure safety measures are followed

• Conduct audits and identify areas for corrective actions

• Provide detailed safety reporting to management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience in safety roles

• At least 7 years in on-site health and safety positions

• Experience in major construction or aviation projects

• Ability to develop and implement safety management plans

• Health and safety diploma or relevant certification is preferred
