Join Amico as an Estimator specializing in Electrical Utility Construction within the GTA. This full-time role demands proficiency in preparing competitive bids for complex utility projects.
You will lead the estimating process for electrical and civil infrastructure, leveraging your 5-8 years of experience. The candidate must possess a strong background in roadway lighting and utility relocations. Collaborate closely with project teams to enhance bid submissions and project execution strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop comprehensive cost estimates for utility projects
• Review and interpret drawings and tender documents
• Calculate quantities for civil and electrical works
• Evaluate subcontractor quotes and assess risks
• Record and maintain historical cost data
Requirements:
• 5-8 years of experience in relevant construction sectors
• Degree in Civil/Electrical Engineering or related fields
• Proficient with construction estimating tools and software
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
