Job DescriptionThe Superintendent is responsible for coordinating and completing specific projects on time, within budget, and within scope.
Responsibilities- Workingwiththeprojectmanagertoensureimplementationof Amico'ssafetyprogram,includingintegratingthesafetyprogramintoallsiteplansandproceduresandadheringtoallsafetyandrecord-keeping requirements.
- Promoteandmaintainaproductive"team"workingenvironmentwithin
Amicoandaffiliated
Corporations. - Directfieldoperationsinthedeliveryofprojectsbyadheringtoschedules,budgets,safety,andrisk.
- Assistwiththecreationof andreviewofsubcontractorscopesofworkandevaluations.
- Supervising,directing,coaching,training,andmentoringtheprojectteam.
- Developinganddrivingtheconstructionscheduleinconjunctionwiththeprojectteam.
- Ensuringthatcompletiondatesandmilestonesaremetwhileremainingcompliantwithbudgetandqualitystandards.
- Communicatingeffectivelywithtradesandensuringthatperformance,productivity,quality,andsafetyrequirementsaremet.
- Maintaindailysiterecordsandsafetydocumentation.
- Consistentlycollaboratingwithconstruction/projectmanagerandprojectteam.
- Otherdutiesasassignedbythe Company,relatedtothesuccessfulexecutionofthework.
- Individualmusthaveexcellentknowledgeofcontracts,industrypracticesandcodes
- Abilitytoworkindependentlyandwithminimumsupervision
- Problemsolvingskillsandtroubleshootingknowledge
- Self-motivated,self-dedicated,andresultoriented
- Strong organizational,writtenandcommunicationskills
- Abilitytoworkwithtightdeadlines,multitaskandfollowup
- Strongcomputerskills,usingMSOffice
- Flexibilitytoworkvaryingschedules
- The ability to successfully apply a mix of technical expertise, team coordination skills, and attention to detail. These contributions will help deliver projects that meet expectations.
