Tunneling Construction Estimator

Apply estimating expertise to tunneling and underground construction projects at Aversan Inc.’s Mississauga head office. Use Primavera P6 and MS Project on-site full time.

This Estimator prepares detailed costs and bid proposals for heavy civil, infrastructure, tunneling, and underground projects. The work includes quantity take-offs, BOQs, production-based cost models, and tender submissions. You will review drawings, specifications, geotechnical reports, and contract requirements while coordinating with technical, business development, procurement, operations, and project controls teams.

• Prepare detailed estimates, bid proposals, and Bills of Quantities
• Review tenders, drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports
• Develop labour, equipment, materials, and subcontractor cost models
• Evaluate supplier quotations and support competitive bids
• Maintain estimating databases and historical pricing benchmarks

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Five to eight years’ heavy civil estimating experience
• Three years’ experience in tunneling or underground construction
• Primavera P6 experience and Microsoft Excel proficiency
• Ontario Class G licence and Canadian work eligibility
