Utility construction leadership anchors this Assistant Utility Site Superintendent position on the ECWE SRS project spanning Toronto and Mississauga.
TRP seeks an experienced Assistant Utility Site Superintendent to support daily field management and coordination. The work covers utility relocations, protection, installation, excavation, tie-ins, testing, restoration, and civil activities. Collaboration includes construction managers, engineering, utility owners, subcontractors, and field crews.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate wet utilities, drainage, earthworks, and utility construction activities
- Monitor subcontractor productivity, workmanship, staffing, and project compliance
- Coordinate excavation, trenching, bedding, installation, backfill, and restoration
- Support inspections, testing, tie-ins, commissioning, and turnover
- Maintain daily records, quantities, progress reports, and as-built information
- Five to eight years of progressive construction experience
- Utility or civil construction experience with underground infrastructure
- Experience coordinating utility subcontractors, crews, and stakeholders
- Working knowledge of Ontario construction safety requirements
- Valid driver's license required
