Assistant Construction Project Manager

Construction project coordination and scheduling define this Assistant Project Manager role with Ellis Don’s Energy & Digital Services team. Support delivery from pre-construction through completion.

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will help interpret designs, coordinate stakeholders, and manage project documentation. The work includes schedules, budgets, contracts, safety, quality control, billing, and risk tracking. You will support contractors and consultants while reporting project progress to senior management.

• Assist planning, specification analysis, and design coordination
• Create and track RFIs, submittals, agreements, and expediting lists
• Develop and monitor construction schedules, budgets, and milestones
• Administer subcontracts, changes, compliance, and deliverables
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, meetings, reports, billing, and safety

• Construction degree or diploma with three-plus years’ experience
• Equivalent technical training and project management experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of scheduling, project management, and contract software
• Ability to support teams through problematic situations
