Construction Cost Estimating Manager

Lead capital cost estimating and analysis for large-scale project bids and feasibility studies at AtkinsRéalis in Canada. Apply Excel, construction knowledge, and analytical judgment.

The Construction Estimating Manager reports to the Construction Estimating Director and supports new opportunities, change orders, and feasibility studies. You will develop full-scope estimates across engineering, equipment, construction, project management, and indirect costs. Collaboration spans proposal, engineering, procurement, risk, commercial, and project management teams.

• Prepare capital cost estimates for bids, change orders, and feasibility studies
• Gather technical inputs across multidisciplinary proposal teams
• Review RFPs, contracts, scope, terms, and work breakdown structures
• Benchmark estimates against historical project costs and market conditions
• Present estimate details, risks, and basis for formal approvals

• Engineering, Business, or Mathematics university degree
• At least 10 years’ experience in construction or high technology
• Strong heavy industrial and complex building estimating knowledge
• Advanced mathematical, analytical, problem-solving, and Excel skills
• Ability to prioritize deadlines and accommodate occasional travel
