Senior Rail Construction Manager

Lead metro and light rail construction in Mississauga with project planning, risk management, and stakeholder coordination responsibilities. This full-time position is not remote.

Hitachi Rail seeks an experienced Senior Construction Manager to oversee prestigious metro and light rail projects. You will coordinate engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders while managing construction resources and deployment activities. The position requires technical construction knowledge, leadership, and project management proficiency.

• Lead construction planning, coordination, and execution across project phases
• Monitor progress, risks, delays, budgets, and quality standards
• Manage labor, materials, equipment, and construction resources
• Ensure regulatory, code, safety, and quality compliance
• Coordinate system handover, testing, commissioning, and startup activities

• Minimum ten years of construction management experience
• Large-scale infrastructure project delivery experience
• Knowledge of construction methodologies, techniques, and best practices
• English proficiency and strong stakeholder communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field
