Position Summary

Carraway is looking for a dedicated and motivated individual for a part‑time customer service role as a parking ambassador. The position is located at The International Centre in Mississauga.

Description of Duties
  • Keep parking areas clean and orderly to ensure that space usage is maximized.
  • Direct motorists to parking areas or parking spaces, using hand signals or flashlights as necessary.
  • Patrol parking areas to prevent vehicle damage and property theft.
  • Direct guests to available parking spaces and strategically manage lot space to maximize passenger vehicle and tour bus parking.
  • Lift, position, and remove barricades to open or close parking areas.
  • Manage the docking area by forming a queue with trucks and trailers.
Minimum Requirements
  • Able to work outdoors for long periods.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
  • Lift a maximum of 15 pounds.
  • Must possess a phone with data.
  • Superior customer service skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Must be dependable, available, physically fit, and have good character.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years customer service experience.
Interpersonal Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Actively looking for ways to help people.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to work in a challenging, fast‑paced, multi‑tasked environment.
  • Good public speaking and presentation skills in group settings.
  • Team player.
Hours

This is a part‑time contract position working Mondays to Sundays.

Location

The International Centre (6900 Airport Rd, Mississauga).

Compensation

$18.50 per hour.
