Role Overview
Service Representative on the Retirement and Transfer Services team will support branch teams by answering inbound calls and correspondence from Financial Advisors and Branch Office Administrators, providing accurate, compliant, and timely support.
Responsibilities- Providing solutions in response to incoming telephone calls and written correspondence from Financial Advisors and Branch Office Administrators in an accurate and efficient manner, while considering legal/regulatory guidelines and risk to the firm.
- Understanding the products and services offered by the firm to provide reliable and accurate responses to field associates.
- Striving to provide world class client service in line with individual and department performance and quality expectation measures for a Service Specialist II.
- Contributing to the overall success of the team/department by acting as a resource for others and supporting new initiatives, projects, or process changes.
- Identifying opportunities for improvements or enhancements within the team/department.
9:30am – 6:00pm EST, Monday through Friday. Training hours during the first three months: 9:00am – 6:00pm EST.
Contract9‑month contract position.
Qualifications- Completion of post‑secondary education preferred.
- 2+ years of client service experience or comparable experience in the financial services industry required.
- Must be able to respond and adapt to callers and peers with appropriate tone, organized thoughts, and confidence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – ability to respond to written correspondence in a clear and pleasant manner using correct grammar, spelling and format.
- Proficiency in procedures and systems used by the department(s) with whom Service has a dependency required.
- Understanding of various securities and functions of the business is critical.
- Strong computer skills required.
- Bilingual in English and French preferred.
The salary range for this role is based on national data. Actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors.
