The Logistics Specialist supports daily import and export operations at an onsite Mississauga location. The location operates from 6:00a.m. to 10:00p.m., including weekends and holidays, so schedule flexibility is required.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Act as the main points of contact for the target customer segments.
Provide complex problem resolution for shipment and non‑shipment related issues.
Address customer complaints and drive efforts for systemic improvements.
Stay abreast of changes in the environment of targeted customers.
Serve as an internal expert on the customer segment, guiding colleagues and sales towards better outcomes.
Develop trusting relationships with target customer segments.
Support customers on‑site and accompany BDMs during meetings with current and prospective clients.
Assist the Operations Manager on complex assignments, including authoring CAPAs, monthly checks, problem resolution responses to incidents and customer comments.
Provide leadership support in the absence of the Customer Service/Operations Lead.
Assist in the training of new employees; act as a buddy and mentor to new and developing colleagues.
Follow up on live jobs, even if not your order.
Assist the Training Specialist in developing new training materials and act as a subject matter expert.
Experience and Educational Requirements Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer care.
High School diploma.
Potential for travel to a multitude of destinations worldwide.
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and/or French.
Creative problem solving.
Flexibility to work multiple shifts.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Bilingualism, French/English, is an asset.
Ability to have daily contacts with unilingual English‑speaking customers, patients or peers from cross‑functional teams.
Salary Range 39,552
CAD – 66,847
CAD annually.
