Job Description
Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative Bilingual interacts with customers to provide information regarding customer’s order status, change or cancel orders, assist customers to place manual orders and returns.
Rotating Shifts
Required:
8:30am-5:00pm, 10:30am-7:00pm, 12:30pm-9:00pm
Duties and Responsibilities
Answer telephone calls and live chats in English and French to provide information about the status of orders, provide assistance to change or cancel orders, place orders and returns and answer basic questions regarding sizing and availability. This includes assisting customers with various tasks related to internal ordering platforms and applications.
Answer emails in English and French to provide information about the status of orders, provide assistance to change or cancel orders, place orders and returns and answer basic questions regarding sizing and availability.
Escalate order related questions to reporting supervisor and account managers.
Return calls or emails to customers with information regarding orders.
Place manual orders.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience and Education
High school diploma or GED.
Experience in customer service.
Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities
Verbal and written communication skills English and French. Active listening and talking to others to convey information effectively.
Ability to speak clearly in English and French.
Service Orientation – actively looking for ways to help people.
Time management.
Dependability, being reliable and fulfilling obligations.
Telephone and Email Etiquette.
Attention to Detail, being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
Cooperation being pleasant with others and displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude.
Self-Control, maintaining composure, keeping emotions in check, controlling anger, and avoiding aggressive behavior, even in difficult situations.
Computer knowledge – Ability to navigate multiple applications simultaneously: MS Excel, Outlook, Word, ERP, VPN, Electronic Phone Application Systems and Electronic Store Applications.
Working Conditions, Physical Effort and Environment
Sitting for 5 to 8 hours.
Making repetitive motions.
Little physical strength.
