The team at  Square One Dental Centre  in Mississauga, Ontario  is seeking a passionate and dedicated  Certified Level II Dental Assistant  for a maternity leave position, with the potential to transition into a  full-time role .
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will have experience assisting with a wide range of dental procedures, along with strong communication skills and proficiency in intraoral scanning (iTero).
The ideal candidate will:
Be a certified Level II Dental Assistant with a minimum of 3 years of experience
Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
Uphold high standards of patient care
Be available to work evenings and weekends

Responsibilities:
Set up treatment rooms and ensure and maintain a clean and organized workspace, including disinfecting operatories and sterilizing instruments.
Support dentist procedures, ensuring comfort and safety for all patients.
Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment, ensuring readiness for daily operations
IPAC Certified (Infection and Prevention Controls)
Provide patient care before, during, and after procedures.
Manage dental records, charts, and documentation as needed.

Qualifications:

Dental Assistant Certification
Previous experience in a dental clinic
Strong communication and patient-care skills and good customer service.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols.
Previous dental assisting experience is preferred (3+ years).
Successful completion of a Dental Assisting Certificate.
Level II and HARP certification (required).
Valid CPR certification (required).
Flexible schedule with availability for evening and weekend shifts based on business needs.
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Punctual and reliable with excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt and respond effectively to a variety of patients.

Experience with dental practice management software (such as Tracker) is considered an asset
Support the front desk with scheduling or administrative tasks when required.
