Transform airport design standards as a Design Manager at AECOM, based in Mississauga. This on-site position requires strong technical expertise and project management skills.
In this role at AECOM, you will manage the design processes for one of the world’s most advanced airports. Your background in architecture and design management will be essential as you coordinate multi-disciplinary standards and manage client interactions. Collaborating with various stakeholders, you will ensure that design compliance meets both technical and programmatic requirements effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement design standards in collaboration with contractors
• Oversee all pre-construction phases including permitting
• Lead client interactions and provide technical guidance
• Manage design consultancy agreements and quality reviews
• Coordinate design reviews with external stakeholders
Requirements:
• University Degree + Licensed Architect
• 8+ years in engineering/design management
• Proven expertise in terminal renovation projects
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM tools
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder management
