Lighting Systems Design Specialist

Design lighting and AV systems remotely from anywhere in Canada, using AutoCAD and low-voltage expertise to support installers nationwide. Your drawings become built systems.
Green LED Lighting Solutions needs a designer with three-plus years at an AV integrator, lighting integrator, or systems house. You will produce wiring diagrams, cable layouts, addressing schedules, pathway drawings, and costed bills of materials. The work also includes installer support involving pixel data faults, DMX addressing, voltage drop, and controller setup.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce AutoCAD design packages from design lead markups
Create wiring, single-line, fixture, and cable layouts
Build costed bills of materials in CPQ and ERP
Support installers by phone approximately 40% weekly
Document recurring solutions for installer-facing guidance
Requirements:
Three-plus years producing built design or drafting packages
AutoCAD experience;
Revit or D-Tools is advantageous
Understanding of voltage drop, power injection, and PSU sizing
Clear phone manner with electricians and job-site callers
Daily AI use and Canadian work eligibility
