Become a vital leader at Dixie Bloor Neighbourhood Centre as the Summer Camp Recreation Supervisor. This role emphasizes creating engaging experiences for children aged 6 to 12 from June 29 to August 21. In this position, you will play a key role in mentoring staff and overseeing the daily camp operations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and evaluate engaging camp activities
- Provide coaching and constructive feedback to staff
- Conduct daily meetings to prepare for programming
- Encourage youth leadership and teamwork opportunities
- Maintain safety and organization of camp facilities
- In progress or completed post-secondary education
- 2+ years of experience working with children
- Knowledge of youth development principles
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual preferred
- Solid leadership abilities and collaboration skills
