Montessori Teacher

We are located in Mississauga, Ontario and are licensed by the Ministry of Education operating a Montessori curriculum for children eighteen months to six years. We offer full-day and part-time programs. We are committed to providing high quality, inclusive early learning programs for the children in our community while following the educational methods developed by Dr. Maria Montessori.

We are currently seeking a Registered Early Childhood educator with Montessori experience or Montessori Teacher. A trained individual who will be a good fit for our inclusive environment, and is flexible to work between the hours of 7am‑6pm.

Maintain a high-quality environment keeping well‑being of children a top priority

Support children in the development of their self‑help skills and independence

Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co‑workers and community service providers working with children

Work in partnership to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom material

Montessori Diploma (MACTI, AMI or AMS) or Registered Early Childhood Educator (R.E.C.E) is a must

A valid Standard First Aid and CPR‑Certificate

A cleared Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening

Up‑to‑date Immunization Record with proof of current Tuberculosis (TB) Test

A positive, fun‑loving attitude, the ability to work in a team, and self‑motivated

Knowledge of HiMama Childcare Management Tool is preferred, but not essential
