Make a Difference After School – Become a Running & Reading Club Mentor! Join the fun and impact lives with the Start2
Finish Running & Reading Club—a unique after-school program that promotes literacy, healthy active living, and play for children aged 6–13 (Grades 1–6). Just one afternoon a week for two hours, you’ll support students through meaningful activities that help them stay in school, build self‑confidence, and form positive relationships with peers and mentors.
- Participate in fun fitness activities
- Read one‑on‑one with children
- Help serve healthy snacks
- Lead or support engaging literacy games and activities
- Willing to undergo a background or police records check
- Volunteer code of conduct
- Minimum 16 years old
- Comfortable commuting to opportunity location
