Transform student engagement as the New Student Programmer at the University of Toronto Mississauga. This full-time role emphasizes organizing impactful events for new arrivals to campus.
The Centre for Student Engagement seeks someone to drive co-curricular programming and support new UTM students in their transition. You will manage UTM Orientation and work closely with faculty to ensure partnerships flourish, enabling a vibrant student experience. Join a community dedicated to holistic student development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize logistics for student-focused events
• Liaise with stakeholders for resource requirements
• Build cooperative networks within the community
• Conduct evaluations and recommend future changes
• Mentor student staff in event planning
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience
• At least three years in event coordination
• Proven success in managing collaborative events
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
• Knowledge of equity practices essential
