The University of Toronto Mississauga is seeking a qualified individual for the VCC
236H5 course, focusing on the interplay of market forces and cultural politics. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. and have demonstrated teaching excellence in this subject. You will design the curriculum, deliver engaging lectures, and oversee student evaluations and assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive course material
• Supervise teaching assistants and student assignments
• Mark student work and submit final grades
• Conduct regular office hours for student support
• Schedule guest speakers within class constraints
Requirements:
• Doctorate degree in relevant field
• Proven teaching experience in similar courses
• Experience as sole course instructor preferred
• Strong commitment to student engagement
• Ability to manage course logistics effectively
