Teach Art Since 1945 at the University of Toronto Mississauga from January to April 2027. This sessional lecturer role requires a Ph.D and prior teaching excellence to guide students in understanding international art movements.
The University of Toronto Mississauga seeks a sessional lecturer for the course FAH
289H5S. Candidates must hold a Ph.D in Art History, with mastery of the subject. Previous experience teaching similar courses at UTM is essential, alongside the ability to manage course delivery, assignments, and assessments effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver engaging course material
• Develop and supervise assignments, tests, and exams
• Mark student work and submit grades punctually
• Hold regular office hours for student consultations
• Schedule guest speakers for limited sessions
Requirements:
• Ph.D in Art History is essential
• Demonstrated teaching excellence at UTM required
• Experience as a sole instructor is an asset
• Mastery of diverse art movements since 1945
• Commitment to diversity and inclusion in teaching
