390H5F course on Modern Art and Architecture. This role involves designing and teaching a dynamic course for approximately 30 students.
As a Sessional Lecturer, you'll be responsible for preparing and delivering engaging course materials in Art History. Candidates should possess a graduate degree in the field and demonstrate excellence in teaching modern topics. Your duties will include supervising teaching assistants, grading, and conducting regular office hours to support students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver lectures for Modern Art course
• Prepare assignments, tests, and exams for students
• Supervise teaching assistants and assist with grading
• Hold regular office hours for student support
• Coordinate guest speaker sessions within course schedule
Requirements:
• Graduate degree in Art History required
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching modern topics
• Experience as a sole course instructor preferred
• Ability to provide a short course outline
• Commitment to equity and diversity in teaching
