Position: Educational Assistant Casual Opportunities
Join Peel District School Board as a Casual Educational Assistant, providing support to students with diverse special needs. This role is pivotal in both mainstream and contained classrooms.

You will work 'as needed' during the school year, engaging directly with students to help them thrive. This opportunity allows you to gain experience while collaborating with a variety of learners. Candidates are encouraged to prepare for interviews between June and July, fostering an inclusive environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate learning for students with physical, developmental, and behavioral needs

• Conduct essential tasks such as toileting and personal care

• Work in both integrated and contained classroom settings

• Assist with daily classroom activities and organization

• Track and report on student progress

Requirements:

• Four months or more experience working with Special Needs

• Relevant post-secondary certification is necessary

• Capable of performing physical tasks as outlined

• Demonstrated commitment to a diverse educational environment

• Satisfactory Criminal Background Check must be submitted
