Salary and Benefits
Sessional Lecturer I stipend: $9,997.47 (0.5 FCE) starting Sep 1 2025, inclusive of vacation pay. Salary rates defined by CUPE 3902, Unit 3 collective agreement.
Minimum TA support: 0.75 hours per enrolled student.
Duties
Design and teach the course, including lectures, seminars, and creation of courseware; develop and administer assignments, tests, and examinations; grade student work and submit grades to university officials; maintain reasonable hours of student contact outside scheduled contact hours; supervise day‑to‑day work of any instructional or teaching assistants assigned to the course.
Minimum Qualifications
Superior teaching ability with suitable academic and/or professional qualifications, currency, and mastery of the subject matter.
Demonstrated teaching excellence through previous experience teaching the course or similar courses.
Preferred Qualifications
Significant experience applying the subject matter in a practical environment.
