Nipissing University offers an exciting part-time opportunity for a Nursing Clinical Instructor in the 2026/2027 academic year. Engage with nursing students in a distance education format.
We invite applications for Clinical Instructors to fill limited-term positions within the School of Nursing. Candidates should be Registered Nurses with strong clinical backgrounds, along with skills in student supervision and teaching. Experience in nursing education or mentorship is preferred for effective guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver instruction and assessments for designated courses
• Provide academic support to students beyond scheduled time
• Adhere to Nipissing University's policies in teaching
• Conduct community-based health projects with students
• Assist family-based assessments during practical experiences
Requirements:
• Registration in good standing with CNO as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum educational qualification of Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Relevant recent clinical practice
• Proven supervisory experience with nursing students
• Understanding regulatory requirements for nursing education
