Thompson Rivers University is seeking an Open Learning Faculty Member for ARET 4111:
Green Building Rating Systems. Utilize your knowledge and experience to inspire students in sustainable architecture practices.

In this role, you will teach a course focused on green building and various rating systems used in the industry, emphasizing the importance of sustainability. Your responsibilities will include facilitating online learning, maintaining student engagement, and providing constructive feedback on academic performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee administrative setup and student record-keeping

• Maintain regular communication with enrolled students

• Respond to student questions effectively and timely

• Assess and grade assignments, providing thorough feedback

• Evaluate examinations and post student results promptly

Requirements:

• Professional Engineer, Registered Architect, or Building Technologist

• At least five years of LEED certification experience

• Research involvement in sustainability practices

• Experience with online teaching environments

• Familiar with educational technology and instructional design
