The University of Toronto Mississauga invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer for the term running from September 1 to December 31, 2026.
Your role will focus on educating students about the crucial aspects of ethics and professionalism in Forensic Science. An ideal candidate should possess teaching experience and an expert understanding of the subject matter.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and deliver engaging course content weekly
• Assess assignments and exams to gauge student understanding
• Guide teaching assistants in their evaluation tasks
• Conduct office hours for additional student support
• Ensure timely grading and feedback submission
Requirements:
• PhD in Forensic Science or relevant professional experience
• Experience as an expert witness preferred
• Teaching proficiency at the university-level
• Familiarity with digital teaching tools is a plus
• Understanding of forensic science's legal implications
