Homeroom Teacher

Position: Full-Time Homeroom Teacher
Elevate student learning as a Full-Time Homeroom Teacher at TFS in Mississauga, Ontario. Collaborate with a team to create an engaging, supportive environment for diverse learners.

As a permanent staff member at TFS's West Campus, you will nurture students from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 7 while utilizing effective teaching strategies.

Your role involves understanding individual student needs, employing engaging materials, and providing constructive feedback. With a focus on trust-building, you will maintain strong connections with students, parents, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and address the needs of all student groups

• Utilize study materials that foster motivation and engagement

• Track assignments to monitor student progress

• Plan educational activities and lessons effectively

• Build rapport with students, their families, and other staff

Requirements:

• Certification as a teacher (OCT or equivalent)

• Proficiency in French and English (oral and written)

• Experience in a homeroom teaching role

• Knowledge of IB and Ontario curricula is desirable

• Strong familiarity with the French curriculum
