Position: Dufferin-Peel Early Childhood Educator Role
Become an integral member of the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board as a Designated Early Childhood Educator. This casual position focuses on establishing a nurturing educational atmosphere guided by faith.

Your role as a DECE involves collaborating with the classroom teacher to implement the Kindergarten Program effectively. You will create social and emotional learning experiences, monitor student progress, and adapt programs to meet individual needs, all within the framework of Dufferin-Peel’s Catholic virtues and educational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a welcoming and faith-oriented classroom environment

• Implement play and inquiry-based curriculum

• Observe and assess holistic student growth

• Work with community resources for diverse support

• Supervise and conduct planning for field trips

Requirements:

• Early Childhood Education Diploma or Degree

• Registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators

• Current Catholic Pastoral Reference

• Minimum of three years' ECE experience

• Proven expertise in developmental program implementation
