Part-Time Math & Science Tutor

Oxford Learning Mississauga Central is seeking a part-time Math and Science Tutor for high school students starting August 2026. If you're passionate about helping students excel in mathematics and science, this role is perfect for you.

The ideal candidate will possess Canadian curriculum teaching experience, particularly with grades 9-12. Familiarity with subjects like advanced functions, algebra, trigonometry, calculus, biology, chemistry, and physics is essential. You will benefit from pre-planned lessons and comprehensive training in our teaching methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tutor up to three students simultaneously

• Deliver instruction in person or online

• Adhere to Oxford Learning teaching methods

• Provide post-lesson notes for student tracking

• Maintain professional, friendly communication

Requirements:

• Strong math and science background

• Bachelor's degree or teaching certification preferred

• Experience in tutoring or teaching at grade 9-12 level

• Must be available Monday-Thursday and Saturday

• Vulnerable sector screening required
