Bruce-Grey Catholic French Immersion Teacher

Become part of the Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board as a full-time French Immersion Teacher, starting September 1, 2026. This probationary role emphasizes intermediate French education.

We are hiring a mid-level Elementary Intermediate French Immersion Teacher, requiring a valid Ontario College of Teachers certificate with qualifications in Intermediate Division and French as a Second Language. Candidates with Special Education and Religious Education qualifications will be prioritized. You will play a critical role in supporting students’ language acquisition in a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement effective French language programs

• Evaluate and track student achievements regularly

• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curricula

• Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

• Maintain effective communication with students' families

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Ontario College of Teachers certification

• Qualifications in Intermediate Division and FSL required

• Special Education qualifications considered an asset

• Religious Education Certificate is preferred
