Position: Dance Instructor for City
Become a Dance Instructor with the City of Mississauga, teaching evening and weekend classes for participants aged 3 and up. Your expertise will help deliver engaging dance programs and prepare students for the final recital showcase.

We are seeking enthusiastic instructors with a passion for dance and teaching experience. This part-time position requires a deep understanding of various dance styles and the ability to create lesson plans tailored to diverse age groups. Instructors will ensure a safe and supportive environment while fostering participant progress and promoting healthy child development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver dance instruction in specified styles

• Prepare engaging lesson plans for classes

• Ensure safety through facility checks

• Communicate effectively with the Program Supervisor

• Create choreography for recital performances

Requirements:

• Minimum 16 years of age and 3 years of dance experience

• Certification from a recognized dance instructor program

• First Aid and CPR certifications required

• Flexible working hours on evenings and weekends

• Vulnerable Sector Check needed
