Position: Student-Focused Career Advisor Role
Join Point Loma Nazarene University as a Career Advisor. This full-time role is dedicated to enhancing student career readiness through personalized support and programming.

In this role, you will work closely with students and alumni, assisting them with career exploration, resume development, and interview preparation. Your expertise in facilitating workshops and creating career-related content will boost student engagement in collaboration with faculty and employers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support individual and group career advising sessions

• Coordinate workshops for skill development and networking

• Develop content for digital communication platforms

• Research and share internship and job opportunities

• Assist with event logistics and employer engagement initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with 2-5 years in related fields

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Experience with Canva and social media for outreach

• Empathetic approach towards diverse student backgrounds

• Strong commitment to a Christian mission and values
