Point Loma Nazarene University’s School of Behavioral & Social Sciences invites applications for an adjunct position. This part-time role is dedicated to exceptional teaching at the undergraduate level in a faith-based environment. As you teach various courses, you will also work with diverse students and colleagues in a rich, supportive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach courses in sociology and/or criminal justice

• Work with students, parents, and the community

• Personally engage in scholarship and encourage student scholarship

• Advise students in academic and spiritual matters

• Participate in university committees and departmental activities

Requirements:

• Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant field

• Track record of excellence in teaching

• Commitment to the goals of Christian liberal arts education

• Involvement in church community

• Complete a background check and align with university policies
