This part-time role requires assisting Specialty Arts Instructors in delivering tailored arts programs focusing on woodworking and glass. Successful candidates will collaborate with instructors to ensure safety and quality throughout the activities, providing oversight for groups of up to 15 participants. You'll also manage studio preparations, ensuring a clean and safe environment while supporting participants with their project guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Help instruct specialized arts programs
• Oversee equipment and participant safety
• Provide coaching for projects to participants
• Prepare tools and materials for programs
• Clean and maintain the studio as per standards
Requirements:
• Knowledge in Jewelry, Glass, or Woodworking
• Experience teaching or coaching arts
• Basic First Aid with CPR certification required
• Vulnerable Sector Check required for applicants
• Minimum age of 16 at employment start
