Equipment Trainer

Position: OSG Equipment Trainer Role
Support safety training initiatives with OSG as an Equipment Trainer & Evaluator located in Mississauga. Leverage your skills to deliver high-quality mobile equipment training and evaluations that emphasize safe work practices.

This essential role involves facilitating hands-on training for equipment operators, including practical evaluations on forklifts, aerial work platforms, and overhead cranes. Your focus on client relationships and engagement will greatly enhance training effectiveness. Expect a primarily in-person schedule with some evening and weekend commitments as necessary, traveling to various client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver in-person and virtual programs using best practices

• Conduct fair evaluations and operator assessments

• Foster positive client experiences through communication

• Administer accurate training documentation

• Adapt training content based on participant feedback

Requirements:

• Certification and operational experience on mobile equipment

• Background in health and safety or training preferred

• Strong communication skills with a customer-service orientation

• Valid Ontario driver’s license and accessible vehicle

• Clear criminal background check
