Intermediate English Tutor

Position: Intermediate English Tutor Role
Join Oxford Learning Mississauga Central as a Part-Time English Tutor and empower students starting August 2026. This role allows you to foster literary skills in a supportive environment.

As a teacher-tutor, you'll work with students on their language and social studies skills without having to lesson plan. The ideal candidate should be available during after-school hours and some Saturday mornings while exhibiting dedication to improving students' academic performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach multiple students at once in person

• Utilize Oxford Learning’s proprietary methods

• Complete daily communication updates for students

• Fill post-lesson notes accurately

• Indulge in staff events and training opportunities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or similar certification preferred

• Some tutoring experience with Grade 9 to Grade 12

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Capability to manage three students simultaneously

• Available for evening and Saturday shifts
