Outdoor Education Coordinator at Teen Ranch

Lead engaging outdoor education programs for school groups as the Outdoor Education Program Coordinator at Teen Ranch. Collaborate closely with the Toronto Catholic District School Board to deliver exceptional learning experiences.

This role involves coordinating, executing, and evaluating outdoor education programs, ensuring alignment with the Ontario curriculum and OPASSE standards. During school breaks, you will plan and lead camps, fostering a safe and engaging environment. You will provide leadership in program delivery, train staff, and maintain high program standards throughout all activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate day-to-day outdoor education program operations

• Design programs that align with curriculum goals and standards

• Support and coach program staff in effective delivery

• Communicate with schools regarding programs and logistics

• Maintain equipment and ensure safety across activities

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Recreation or Education

• Experience in program planning and delivery

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Current First Aid/CPR certification

• Class G driver's license preferred
