Learning and Development Specialist Role

Elevate leadership development at Maple Leaf Foods as a Learning and Development Specialist. Drive innovative training strategies that enhance engagement and facilitate effective learning.

Reporting to the Manager of Leadership & Learning, you will design and implement programs that address capability gaps and foster leadership growth.

Your role requires a strategic mindset to align learning initiatives with business needs while partnering with multiple stakeholders for successful implementation. You'll lead engaging learning sessions and continuously improve program offerings using insights and feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design impactful learning solutions grounded in adult principles

• Facilitate virtual and in-person training sessions

• Track and report on learner engagement and outcomes

• Collaborate with HR and external vendors on content quality

• Analyze trends to inform future learning opportunities

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in managing learning initiatives

• Expertise in virtual and hybrid facilitation

• Strong listening and organizational skills

• Degree in Adult Education or equivalent

• Certifications in adult learning are a bonus
